Charitable Support

At Waymark, we believe that it is important to give back to the communities that support us, and to do that we choose a few charitable causes each year to support with both our time and services as well as our funds.

Over the past few years, we have made donations to Kids Cancer Care, STARS, Minor hockey programs, elementary school programs, and others. Each year at our Christmas party we hold a prize raffle with 50% of the proceeds going to a charity of the employee choice and the company matching the funds raised by the employees through the prize raffle. Over the years the prize raffle has been donated to charities like the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, The Humane Society, The Mustard Seed, Fur-Ever Homes Rescue Society and the Calgary Drop In Centre.

Habitat for Humanity

Over the years, Waymark has also worked with Habitat for Humanity Calgary as one of our community involvement partners. As a construction sector company, we feel that this is both an important cause for us to support in the city, as well as a good fit with our skills and people. Waymark team members have given their time on various projects for Habitat Calgary, and we look forward to a long and productive relationship with this very important group and effort.
